Inspired by jmcada's journal entry on his marathon project, I started running again, I have been able to keep an interval of approx. every second day (3-4 times/week).
I run in the morning, since I get up early anyway and the car exhaust is at it's lowest and when the weather get hotter, it will be the coolest time of day, yes I plan to keep running over the summer, because I know it will take at least 3 months to get into a proper shape.
My legs are tired, but it feels good to cover some ground again, I look forward to when I can feel the investment paying back, right now it is just hard and not especially fun.
The thing that got me off my lazy bum was a goal: a two-day, 150-mile charity bike ride with some of my co-workers in June. I hate getting up in the morning and exercising (particularly toward the beginning when I was in crappy shape), but I think it's easier because I'm working toward something.
Once the ride is done, the trick will be to find a new goal
