I am continuing on my attempt to integrate webservices into a client existing mod_perl2 environment.
First task after getting the prototypes to work (see earlier journal entries), is to get the handling configured in a PerlSection based configuration, which can separate the virtual hosts based on CVS project checkouts and users.
The setup is quite nice, if you checkout one of the projects from CVS and restart your personal apache server, you automatically get a virtual host on the development platform.
Anyway I need to integrate the Apache2::SOAP handler into this and I need to set the dispatch_to variable - this is giving me some problems, but now I have a httpd configuration which parses (thanks to borup for the suggested notation).
But currently I cannot assert whether the configuration actually works since I cannot see the virtual host due to the fact that the old mod_perl1 environment uses the default name - I have to talk to some of the other people, I need info, I need root access and need the provided mail client working since I cannot mail the project manager - what day is this, monday, it feels like monday with all these problems :-/
