I was asked to write an article about our two recent visits from Randal Schwartz and Stas Bekman. So I whipped together a two-page piece in an hour.
I was asked to do one page, but how do you keep to one page?
According to the review guide from the PerlReview a review should be 300-400 words - I did 743 (including notes).
I am planning to write some reviews of some of the new Perl books for the Copenhagen Perl Mongers website - so I need to learn to keep the number of words down.
Suggestions are welcome...
