The office in which I am sitting shares a DSL connection from a major ISP in Denmark (TDC). The router is configured to forward certain ports to specified IPs (http://proaccess.jth.net/stdkonf.html>).
Well I had to be able to access our web server via HTTP and FTP from the outside.
I do not have access to the correct adapter, eventhough a friendly soul told me the standard password used by TDC *cough*
But apparently FreeBSD can handle this all by itself using aliases on the network adaptor (http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/faq/networking.html#ETHERNET-ALIASES>), so now my FreeBSD host answers on both 192.168.1.3 (HTTP) and 192.168.1.4 (FTP).
FreeBSD continues to impress me (and so does the friendly BSD community in Denmark)... :)
