As I seem the get more and more Perl code done from scratch in my company - I begin to pick up some of my old modules. These modules are small and probably of no common interest and they are therefore not on the CPAN - also there are many more complex modules on the CPAN, which can do the same or similar (I just have not gotten around to using these).
But these modules are modules making it easier (faster) for me to develop programs - and I must admit I cannot live without them.
But it made me wonder. Considering all of the CPAN contributors and all none contributors - there must be hundreds or thousands of these types modules, being used by Perl hackers to complete everyday work.
My list looks like the following (with source):
