I have not had much time to write in this journal lately, but it is not that I do not have things to tell.
I am now in the 3rd. week where I work for my own company and I really get to all the Perl code I can manage - I am actually quite busy.
And this new all/every-day exposure to Perl is truly magnificent.
Apart from the Perl coding part I get to use alot of different modules, this results in quite a few bug reports.
Yesterday I reported 3 bugs on my friends module DBIx::LazyMethod and today I have reported 1 possible bug in Test::Pod::Coverage.
Its weird but reporting bugs also gives me a sense of getting things done, I hope my work will result in some new modules soon though...
I wish I was in a position to code Perl heavily in my job. The classic for me would be to junior on a project and be mentored.
Nice dream...

I hope your dream come true some day.
I quit my well paid day job fixing RT3 tickets involving practically no coding and doing mostly database interaction to become an independant freelance programmer doing mostly Perl.
