Yesterday I lost 140-180 lines of code, quite a few hours of work with a bad grep
.
I was sad for 5 minutes, then I rewrote it in 30 minutes and I thought, "this is why commandline is cool and I should use a revision control system".
I have finally started on some of the stuff I have planned for my new career as an ISV.
In 5 days I start as a freelance programmer and I will hopefully accumulate money and time to develop my ISV business. The closer I get to leaving my current employment the more energy I seem to get, now I just need to put that into programming.
I look forward to the NPW and of course to the NPW being over so I can really focus on development, I have quite a few balls in play right now.
