I did think much of it, I read all the guidelines for uploading a script to the CPAN Script Directory and I uploaded version.pl.
Unfortunately my script held a description section and not a readme section, so there was no description on the site.
So I renamed the section and tried to upload version.pl again - error! names on files uploaded to the CPAN must be unique.
So I uploaded a version_0.02.pl to CPAN, now it is interesting what is going to happen :)
