I was just writing a draft for a plan for our next workshop, so just in comparison I outlined the timeline for the Scandinavian Perl Workshop:

  • January 22nd. talk to "Stockholm.pm" about a possible Perl::Weekend
  • Teaser 8th. of February
  • Call for papers 24th. of February
  • Opening of registration 10th. of April
  • Call for participation 11th. of April
  • Closing of registration 24. of April
  • Workshop, 25-26th. of April
    • The Workshop was realized in about 3 months...

    The Workshop was realized in about 3 months...

    but felt like it had been planned considerable further in advance, by someone experienced in organising such events.

    I'm looking forward to attending the next one, although I don't think there is anything I particularly feel a burning urge to talk about. Hopefully there will be atendees from Finland in 2004.
