I sat down yesterday and started browsing the Apple support and other pages, hoping to find some answers to some of my problems with my Airport card in my TiBook.
The problems are:
Not able to send mail using Mail.app (works sometimes)
Unable to browse using Safari
Unable to ssh to an outside box
And I was lucky.
Apparently the order of the different active network port in preferences is important so I moved Airport "up" to be the topmost, I am now able to send mails from my TiBook - well it has worked everytime until now.
I have also
tweaked the MTU in order to fix some of the other problems, but still no luck, the IE browser seem to perform better though.
I ended the evening with updating the firmware on my AP, meaning that nothing was working when I went to bed, but what else should I be doing tonight? - normally this can be fixed with a manual reconfiguration, disabling and re-enabling the WEP encryption.
