I have had time to sit down yesterday and today with <<XML::Conf, the module I am contributing to.
I had alot of a-ha experiences today, but since I hade no prioer experience with the module I expected this would come eventually.
My TODO for the modul has bee cut down, and the number of lines of documentation and tests are increasing, it seem as if I only lack the difficult parts.
But I guess as soon as I get some hands-on experience with these parts (examples/tests) it will prove easier to write the documentation, and version 0.03 will be ready for shipping.
I have mailed with Gabor, the guy who put the module of for grasps here on use.perl.org and we have started a discussion on a by me suggestion further separation of some of one of the bigger modules (htpl). The htpl distributions contains lots of stuff, and I do not think a dependency of a small module like XML::Conf to htpl is neat.
Of course if is a question of temper, and I guess Ariel Brosch had some kind of big plan for all his modules, but making the building blocks smaller, might prove more usefull in the long run, also for easier adaption of the modules into other modules and distributions.
Well my grand TODO list for all my projects is still long and I might have to turn my focus elsewhere... I wish I could take a years leave and do some serious Perl programing.
