Well I have started to look into the some of the failed tests in the Smoke reports I am an generating, I expect most of these problems to be trivial and known, but for my own sake I am trying to dig into finding the explanations.
The Berkeley DB problems building Perl are known and have been reported to Apple. This is the explanation from the Installing Perl 5.8 on Jaguar' guide on the Apple Developer Site.
So I guess all you can do is wait and be patient...
