I was reading DDJ and thinking about how it would be nice to have time to spend on different projects. I said out loud, "Next week I'll start programming in earnest". "What's that", my wife quipped, "another programming language?".
If I write a language it will be called "Earnest".
Or maybe Ernest, or Algernon or Jack.
