Yesterday I went to GUADEC, The GNOME Users And Developers European Conference.
I went mainly to meet Jody Golberg, the lead programmer on Gnumeric, to discuss his plans for Perl (and other language) bindings for Gnumeric. More on that at a later date.
Jody is a great guy. He has put a huge amount of work into Gnumeric. It is a now a serious contender in the spreadsheet stakes and it is only going to get better.
