At OSCON 2005 I got to interview Shane Caraveo. Shane is a senior developer at ActiveState where he is the technical lead for the Komodo IDE. In the interview, we talk about Komodo and Perl.

eep, that's a pretty bad buzzing that got into the recording.

Have you tried a low-band filter to strip out the low buzzing.

I couldn't get the low band to work, but I did a notch filter in Audacity and the audio seems to be improved somewhat. Let me know if http://www.perlcast.com/audio/Perlcast_Interview_008_Caraveo.mp3 sounds better and I'll swap it out with the version that is currently in the feed.
