Today I got to visit Follet Library Resources to have lunch with Andy Lester and crew. What an operation. It is an Amazon.com for K-12. Andy was kind enough to take me on a tour of the warehouse. I was able to see the process from books coming into the warehouse from publishers to books going out to schools.
Then came the real good stuff. Andy showed me the system that he works on from day-to-day. This is the same system that was the catalyst for his work on WWW::Mechanize. Cool to see it in action.
