While I'm off doing nothing but eating gumbo and muffalettas in The Big Easy, Tomas Doran was hard at work on Catalyst::Model::SVN fixing memory/perf issues; mostly rewriting that trash I started with. It should be on a CPAN nearest you sometime after the perms/reindex takes root.
At least someone can understand the perl bindings. :-)
