So much for getting any sleep tonight. It's mint for a refurb. Not a scratch anywhere inside or out.

First order of business: Parallels with Ubuntu and XP. After that, perl installs aplenty. I can't wait to try Komodo on OSX as well.

and so it begins..

first..I kep hitting the damn capslock key :-)

After using Pidgin everywhere, why in the hell does Adium support IRC. God that's so damn annoying. Maybe it will in 1.2 when they pick up libpurple.

and so much for Parallels

It appears their site is jacked. I just keep getting 500 errors when trying to create an account, or any 'forgot my email type' things. When I don't get a 500 server error, I just get the 'email aldready exists' message.

How fun.

VMware Fusion?

I'm currently running Parallels and it works fine with XP, FreeBSD, OpenSolaris, Ubuntu - but the UI feels a little unpolished and I hear good things about Fusion.

Yeah, I posted on the user forums and got an email with a key in it from someone looking into the site problems.
Got Ubuntu, Kubuntu 7.10, XP and FreeBSD running so far.

The only oddity is that my b/Kubuntu won't boot with more than 512MB memory allocated. Other than that, it's been fun.

Next thing is to share out my OSX minicpan repo into those didsts using personal web sharing.

I still haven't warmd up to Safari yet, and I'm still trying to get Pidgin 2.2.0 compiled since Adium doesn't grok IRC.
