After reading the Ars Parallels review, I want one even more. Just the fact that I could do perl testing on OSX, FBSD, and XP on the same machine makes it worth it.
Unfortunately, the practical person in me knows I don't needs another computer in the house, esp when my 2.8P4/1GB Sager lappy is still going strong after 4 years.
Then again, it would be nice to actually have a laptop that is actually portable. :-) In either case, I'll still wait for the MacBook version 2s to fix the known issues (firey mag-power dongle, discoloration/chipping).

I have a MacBook. I have Parallels. I use it to test Perl on XP, 98, Tiger, Linux, etc. It it totally awesome.

Apple has reportedly fixed the MacBook discoloration and is replacing the cases affected by the issue.

holding me back from a purchanse is that damn AppleCare...
The stock warranty is pathetic, and paying 1/3 more than the cost of the notebook itself just for AppleCare sortof turns me off.
