Whither PerlDoc.com?

Has anyone else been able to get to perldoc.com at all? Someone take down search.cpan.org to perldoc.com comes back up. ;-)

Its been down for quite sometime. However, fellow Birmingham Perl Monger, JJ, has been hard at work with his own variant of perldoc, which you might find useful instead:

Yeah. Personally, I don't like it; although he has put some high quality work into it. The layout just gets to me.

I loved perldoc for the older versions of docs inthe same place..oh well.

Ahhh - both are empty (except for some links). So what are you saying - "there's always those interesting empty sites if you get tires of waiting for perldoc to load"? ;-)

Meanwhile, there's always the Internet Archive. Personally I think the PerlDrunks version kicks-ass, but if you must have the perldoc.com version, use archive.org, e.g.: http://web.archive.org/web/20030618143328/perldoc.com/perl5.8.0/pod/perlsyn.html
