What's up with search.cpan.org over the last 7 days?
Either it's getting hacked, slashdotted, or something hardware just isn't right.
Today it's non responsive. It was the same Friday as well. Every now and then a query will go through.
Not just search.cpan.org

It happens all the time to
perldoc.com, too. I have not heard any official comments about it, at all, nothing but silence, but personally I suspect that something as described in this
article, could be going on, off and on.
