Found a great new comic title from Marvel called The Ultimates. It's sort of The Avengers meets Dark Knight at the corner of Law & Order and The Watchmen. Good stuff. Thor, God of Hippies? Tony Stark covered in goo? Finally, a Captain America *I* can like! Huzzah!

Actually, the characterization of Hulk is very compelling in the series. He comes off as a drunken hick, which is some much more compelling than an unstoppable machine of rage. I can relate to hicks!
