Perl still popular with Google Zeitgeist

Perl isn't dead yet. (I suspect the archive version of this will be here.) The term "perl programming" was the second most sought after technology term in October, 2004 for Google searches. Of course, number three was HTML. But still, this is an interesting datum.

And the Red Sox is third most DECLINING query. Has the party around the Fens died down, then?
