FireFox's live bookmarks are awesome

I just discovered FireFox's 'live bookmarks' feature, in which you specify a URL to an RSS file and a bookmarks folder is populated with the feed's headlines. I've got some feeds for use.perl journals, slashdot, freshmeat and the Mixerman diary stuff.

The one thing I haven't figured out is how to create them from scratch, if the RSS button isn't available at the bottom of the page (the web site doesn't have the right <LINK...> line in the header.

I saw TorgoX's note about that the other day and tried it right away.

They are truly awesome. It was enough to get me to switch from Mozilla to Firefox (I'd been holding out until Firefox hit 1.0).

I'd never been happy with aggregators before, always either too much hassle to initially setup, or configure or use. Live Bookmarks are so easy and convenient.
