My good friend and former coworker Hans is running for Congress in the 15th district of Michigan (includes Ann Arbor). How very strange and exciting! He's basing his platform on an "Open Source" model and is anti-DMCA, pro-EFF, and all that stuff. I'm anxiously awaiting his platform page, not that I can vote in Michigan anymore...
