I just spent 90 minutes on the phone with a certain major hardware vendor (no, not Sun -- I *like* them strangely enough). Three departments, two trouble ticket system failures, and two separate case numbers later, they're sending out an engineer to look at a drive failure in my tape library. And this is their commercial contract support -- I fear for their consumer market.
