2 days til OSCON. It's hot and muggy here in Philly, and I can't wait to get out of here, as it is undoubtedly not as hot in Portland. Installing Oracle on Linux running on VMware on my laptop just wasn't practical, so I've set up the examples for my talk on a two separate database servers, just in case I can't login to one of them on Thursday. I also have slides to cover my ass in case I can't connect to anything at all. I am one paranoid (but prepared) sysadmin...
