Election maps?

I have been trying unsuccessfully to find U.S. election results maps online. You know, a map showing which party won the governor's race in applicable states, a map showing which party won the Senate race in applicable states, etc. All I've found is this very lovely House of Representatives map. (I think it's interesting how you can see the population density in the map from the size of the districts.) Anyone got any pointers?

Seems like I should just be able to go to Google news, put in "election map," and find what I need. Google has spoiled me. :)

jdavidb,

You never did reply to the various comments on your sig discussion thread. Perhaps now that the election is over, you might have some time to do this? You did mention, after all, that you would be "Happy to discuss it."

The sig discussion was all about why people should (or should not) vote Republican in the US congressional races. That seems related to me, but perhaps I have a strange mind.

Ever feel like there's a certain passive-aggression going on with anonymous moderators?
