Did you know 40% of elementary schools have eliminated or are in the process of eliminating recess? Here's an organization I could really get behind. I've been mad about the education system's tendency to suck up more of children's time for less return for years.
It's an inevitable trend, simply because schools are prisons, and nobody wants a prison to be part-time. Altho not even real prisons are as great a waste of money, brains, and talent as the schools are.
