I just finally joined the mailing list for my local Perl Mongers chapter, DFW.pm, so I guess I'm officially "involved." That's "Dallas/Ft. Worth" for those of you who don't live in the Lone Star state. (Many of us locals, particularly those from the Tarrant (Ft. Worth) County side, take exception to calling it "the Dallas area.")
Can't wait until school's out (conflicting evening class) so I can attend a meeting some day.

Yeah, I'm lurking. For awhile I was working in Dallas and very close to heading out to a meeting some night with a coworker. But then I moved back to working in Euless, and got married.
:) So the free time went way down, and it's much farther to drive. I'm still on the list, though!
