The GNU version of the world's best searching tool (next to Perl of course), has finally been upgraded to support Perl-style regular expressions. Too little, too late, perhaps, if you're using pgrep or something. (Real programmers use perl -e instead of grep!) But I don't use pgrep, so I like it.
