Okay, with the help provided to me yesterday by reneeb I've managed to set up a couple of per-user comment feeds. This is for slashdot, though I could extend it to use Perl I suppose. I'm running them through feedburner so that theoretically only feedburner will ever call my program which actually pulls from the site.
I would like to enhance it to also add the text of each comment, but I think I will have to switch to a more full-featured module to do that. I would also like to do the same for an all-comments feed from use Perl.
