I'm probably the only one here who even cares, but Apple's latest open source license is finally officially a free software license, according to the FSF. FWIW, I agreed with the FSF's assessment before that Apple's license was slightly less than free. I didn't let it affect my personal relations with friends or anything like that, though. ;) [I didn't use Mac OS X mostly because RedHat 7.1 and GNOME won me away from the Mac world, not because it was proprietary or anything.]
