The One Year Bible Companion/Questions and Answers to Help You Make the Most of Your Daily Bible Reading

Book Description

A handbook of key questions and answers to daily readings in the One Year Bible. | (Why was I recommended this?[link])

Customers who bought items from the Sex and the City series also enjoyed the Sopranos series.

Does anyone besides me detect a slight contradiction on their recommendations algorithm? ;)

The bible is chock-full of sex and violence. What's the contradiction?

Well, you do realize the evening news reports on sex and violence without condoning it, so there is somewhat of a difference.

My comment was at least partially joking. But of course, the bible taken as a whole is not a "guide for good behavior", not is it "clean".

As to the evening news, it's easily as morally bankrupt as Sex and the City or The Sopranos, but for different reasons.
