Since my work life is either directly or tangentally connected to perl (via Lââ¬â¢Ã¢ne), I've decided to use my use Perl journal as a work blog (I swear that's the only time I'll use the trendy B-word, excepting comedic effect).
I've been working as an independent consultant for more than a year now. Going independent seemed to encourage people who might compete against my former employer (Burrell Business Systems) to use my services. In fact, BBS is no longer my largest client.
