A drive in my FreeBSD test machine died recently. While everything is backed up, I havenââ¬â¢t had time to install a new drive, let alone the OS. Therefore, my already planned Lââ¬â¢Ã¢ne release has been delayed until that machine is up again.
Besides FreeBSD/i386, I should soon have a Solaris/SPARC test machine. When these two new machines are up, all potential Lââ¬â¢Ã¢ne releases will have to pass on our three reference platforms: Fedora Core Linux 3/i386, FreeBSD 5.3/i386, and Solaris 10/SPARC.
Hopefully, these machines will all be up by mid-week, so I can get the next release out by this weekend (2005-02-20).
