SOAP in Cocoa

It seems that you can make soap calls from Cocoa, by using Apple Events and the SOAP library that exists in there. As it stands the examples are all in C++ which means some language munging for me (I hate C++) but it is possible to do. Interesting.

Unfortunatly I have to fly out to Germany today so I'm not going to have time to play. Fingers crossed on this Germany trip, if it turns out to be successful we should have a lot more ability to do the fun stuff at work that we've been sneaking in where possible up until now.

Of course if it doesn't work out, we'll still be able to do all the cool things that we have planned, it'll just take a lot longer, and be far more difficult to get the space.

Apple events

Two things: first, it is "Apple events", not "Apple Events."

Second, I am working on porting Mac::AppleEvents (yeah, I know, it kinda contradicts the first thing :-) to Mac OS X (along with other Mac:: modules).
