...I ever think its a good idea to buy a house at the same time as wrapping up a year-long project, someone, please, hit me (and remind me that it is in fact a very bad idea indeed).
Yesterday I found myself examining mortgage rates on my laptop, and fixing a bug on my desktop at the same time as having the solicitor on my mobile phone and the real estate agent holding on the land line.
This is far too much to do at once (esp. for a man, we just can't multitask like women).
Katrien has the natural ability to hold two contradictory thoughts in her head at the same time and believe them both equally. I have no doubt that there are many beliefs I hold that contradict each other, but I can't think about them both at once.
In some ways I wish I could perform this mental feat, in others I'm pretty glad that I can't.
