Hmm, just looking at 5.7.2 and it seems that BEGIN and END do stick around now, at least enough to allow B::Deparse to get at them, which is enough to make it useful :-)
I wonder if I can hack attributes into my mod_perl stuff now? It'll be interesting to see.
Having deparse more up to scratch is really good news. Perhaps I can rework Class::Tom (it seems to get rewritten only when Deparse has some new funky features nowadays, so I suppose the impetuous is there...)
