Off to YAPC tomorrow, so its packing time tonight. I have a relatively small todo list that includes:
- Dig out conference t-shirts
- Save HTML version of presentation
- Pray that Netscape doesn't crash
- Remember my Passport
I'm at work during the day tomorrow so its important that I don't forget this stuff, hence me putting it here.
On another note I'm wondering why sub BEGIN {} and sub END {} don't stick around after compilation -- I don't see any benefit in having them disappear from the symbol table, and without looking into it, I think it would be useful for things like attributes inside mod_perl (which don't work currently).
And finally I'm very close to getting the
Fotango Pro application server into a ready-to-release state. This is going to be open sourced and available soon. Its been quite a hassle to find the time to squeeze everything I want into it, but at the same time squeeze all of the Fotango specific stuff out of it. There is quite a lot of cool stuff in it and I'm hoping people will use it. Anyway, I'll write more about that when its available.
