Those were two sad days. Something happened with Embratel's -> Teleglobe link. I couldn't pass packets on port 119 (nntp) and I couldn't access the server that I have an account on (it's in Germany).
Now, though I can't pass packets (that's what traceroute says), I can fetch my news. Don't ask. It doesn't matter what happened. If we be quiet, the network won't notice and will keep on fetching my news. Shhhh :-)
