Nat in SFO for Mac OS X Con

I fly in around midday on Saturday, fly out around 7pm on Friday. My todo list:

  • Sat night: Flecktones conference
  • Sun: possibility of "something illegal and exciting" from a talk.bizarre friend, but may have to bail to talk Mac books with another ORA editor
  • Mon: some kind of s00per s33kr1t briefing at Apple (any questions you want me to ask them on behalf of the Open Source and Free Software Unix-Loving Community?)
  • Tue-Thu: Mac OS X Conference. Catching up with David, Brian, Randal, Dan, and the rest of the wacky crew.
  • Fri: NADA
Is anyone who reads my journal coming to the conference who isn't speaking? :-)

Yes. When the £$±¬ are they going to ship 5.6.1 for OS X? I'm not a Mac user, but it pains me that I still have to make my modules work on 5.6.0 because there is one group of perl users for whom upgrading from 5.6.0 is not practical.

Better catch up with me sooner...

For a variety of mundane and annoying reasons, I get in on sunday and fly out tuesday afternoon... :(

You're not staying for the whole conference, Elian? Bummer!

Nope. I really wanted to, but circumstances conspired and all. :(
