A lot of work on the cloaked book. I'm making an elaborate record of the advice I give to the authors in the form of a web site, so that I can reuse it on the next book I do.
I have one chapter of that book already, and I'm struggling to work out how to edit it. I have to work out where this chapter lies on an axis that ranges from no editing through to a complete rewrite. On the one hand, I have to respect the author's ability to write and command of their material, but on the other hand ORA books are supposed to have a consistent voice and tone. I drew a blank last night, just ended up staring at the page unable to figure out how to get from here to there. Perhaps I'll have more luck today.
