Practice typing "country" so I stop mistyping as "ocuntry". For obvious reasons.

A friend of mine has a common malady: he types "just" as "jsut". I do the same thing. But rather than spend time doing it correctly, he changed the spelling of the word. For him, the word is now spelled "jsut".

As for me, I would be happy to stop spelling our the perl SCM "perlforce".

I've lost count of the number of times I've written
my $self = shitf;
it's embarrassing when you're pair programming...

My favorite was a mistake of my friends.

my $var = shit;

It took him a while to figure it out... but had a good laugh about it.

My usual typo is shoft, but my typing is strange because I'm a two-finger typist (fast enough that it's incredibly frustrating to learn to type the right way now, even though I know it would be useful in the long run).

one of the main advantages to typing "properly" is that you make fewer typos (more than "raw uncorrected speed").

I dunno, I make very few mistakes, unless I am tired, and I type improperly.

One of the advantages to typing improperly is less incidence of repetitive stress disorders.
