So my machine was Slashdotted (the biohackathon got a mention and I run the site of the blog). One side-effect of the load is an increase in small-penised teenagers attempting hacks.
These are the sites that tried Web-based exploits:
- 216.28.35.99 (which appears to be running IIS)
- 65.34.218.150
- 216.76.113.179
- 216.217.247.110 (server1.e-light.com)
- 216.25.201.203 (covad DSL customer)
- 216.116.120.251 (plattcollege.edu)
- 216.28.100.173 (ohiohills.com?)
- 24.189.36.209 (optonline.com customer)
- 24.120.62.50 (lvcm.com customer?)
- 142.154.100.84 (netcom.ca customer)
- 63.44.99.174 (uu.net customer)
- 216.74.57.104 (xo.com customer)
- 63.10.19.190 (uu.net ustomer)
- 12.222.214.24 (insightBB.com customer)
All within 24 hours. Yay for being Slashdotted!
