It's evil and expensive, but at the same time very fun. I was impressed that managed to get out of Fry's in San Jose for < $100. I don't have a strong track record of buying functioning shit, though, and because I only visit Fry's when I travel, I can't return it. So I have a SD reader instead of a CF reader because they all look the same and I was in a hurry, and I have a carefully purchased Serial-to-USB adaptor to make Jenine's Palm talk to her Powerbook that completely fails to make her Palm talk to her Powerbook.
And I bought a Firewire enclosure that turned out to be a USB2 enclosure. It still works with my Mac, but I just feel a dickhead :-)
