The heavy rotation CD at our house is Tim O'Brien's "The Crossing". It's Irish American music, so it sounds a little like singer-songerwriter folk, a little like bluegrass, and a little like Irish. It's kick ass in my book. I can't get the melodies and lyrics out of my head, and even William's now singing along to "A Mountaineer is Always Free". Although the only word he knows is "refugee", he also knows what pitch it should be sung at.
