After being sick for many days and taking a couple of days to recover I'm finally back to work.
I'm dreading the mountain of work I probably have waiting for me. Then again, I always have a mountain of work waiting for me.
On a Perl note, while reading the Linux Journal I came across a script that should give me a lot of info about DHCP addresses on the subnets I watch. Some of my users were complaining about spotty connections. I was thinking it might be a lack of DHCP addresses since they are mostly using their laptops to connect to the university network. I got more DHCP addresses added to my subnets and the problem seems to have cleared up. Hopefully the script will help me monitor the situation.
