I had an interesting lunch break with someone that does Edify work. Edify is a telephony IVR product.
Since my company does work in Edify as well I thought it an odd thing.
We had an interesting talk.
Then I went to a room grab some wireless access, juice for the battery, and some AC. I ran into jdavidb. That was cool. We then discussed the level that Simon would teach the "Perl for SysAdmins". We read the abstract and it said for beginners so I decided to catch Dominus' "'Ivory Tower" talk. I caught it about 2 years at TPC3, but I think it should be good with updates.
Dominus happed to be giving an impromptu "Dirty secrets of the regex engine"
Well, better start paying attention to the scheduled talk.
