I really dislike work that has nothing to show for it. Although once I get the project plan done there is that document.
I've always liked a job that at the end of the day you can look back and see what you've done: firefighting, bartending, and farming (jobs from my past, although farming fell into the chores department really). I even think coding lets one look back and have some "tangible" result from a day's work.
Well I better shut my piehole and get back to working on my project plan, consarn it.
